Cosmetic defects are a serious quality issue in the automotive, electronics, and household appliance industries. LDPE film is commonly used on vehicle trim, stainless steel appliances, sinks, ovens, refrigerators, smartphones, monitors, and flat-panel displays.
Automotive components
The film protects painted body panels, plastic console parts, door sills, and interior carpets during assembly. Growth in electric vehicle production is increasing demand for surface protection films in this sector.
Electronics and displays
Films used on smartphones, televisions, and monitors require good optical clarity and controlled adhesion. Anti-static properties help reduce dust accumulation, while a smooth film surface protects sensitive displays from scratches.
Stainless steel products and household appliances
Protection films prevent dies from marking stainless steel during pressing and deep drawing. The film remains on the surface through production and transport, preserving its appearance until the product reaches the customer.
Reducing defects and material waste
